Hallo Leute!
Wie bereits erwähnt, war der liebe Manuel von knowyourgods.wordpress.com so nett, mir sein altes Bamboo zu schenken! Als ich überlegt habe, was ich als erstes damit colorieren möchte dachte ich mir spontan: „Wieso machst du nicht mal wieder eine Animation?“. Diejenigen unter euch die meinem Blog schon eine Weile folgen fragen sich an dieser Stelle vielleicht „mal wieder…?“ da es hier eigentlich nirgendwo eine Animation zu finden gibt. Das liegt daran, dass ich meine letzte vor etwa 7 Jahren erstellt habe und es sich wahrscheinlich um einen Weihnachtsgruß oder ähnliches handelte. Vor 6 Jahren habe ich dann dieses Video erstellt, welches jedoch sehr ruckelig und eher schlecht animiert ist. Im Jahr 2011 gab ich mir mehr Mühe und habe über ein halbes Jahr verteilt um die 300 Zeichnungen für dieses Video hier angefertigt.
Damals arbeitete meine Mutter noch in einem Büro, wo ein Scanner stand, der alle Bilder automatisch nacheinander durchgezogen hat, seitdem ich keinen Zugriff auf ein solches Gerät mehr habe (und mir ein halbes Jahr Arbeit für eine so kurze Animation erstmal gereicht hat) zeichnete ich auch keine weiteren Szenerien mehr.
Jetzt habe ich auch nur eine super kleine Kleinigkeit für euch, die mir gegen Ende hin jedoch jegliche Nerven geraubt hat, weil erst das Speichern mit meinem Programm nicht so recht funktionieren wollte und dann die Qualität überaus schlecht ausgefallen ist,
Nun ist es aber spät, ich habe keine Lust mich weiter mit dem Bild auseinanderzusetzen und gebe mich für dieses Mal geschlagen! Es wird aber sicher nochmal eine andere Animation geben, bei der ich mich dann auch genauer mit dem Programm auseinandersetze.

Haha well I naturally look very unhappy while singing, worse than in my videos, it always takes me a lot of control and concentration not looking like someone wants to kill me…. xD

I thought you were animated and expressing the emotions of the song! But I can understand being concentrated while trying to sing. I have to be careful no one hears me sing or my singing my end up killing them!

Believe it! I sing to our birds, and they often just make fun of me. I taught our African Gray to sing „Lola“ by the Kinks. I sound terrible, out of tune and all that when I sing it to him. It’s very funny when he sings it because he sounds just like me, but he sings in tune (I found that interesting), and it shows how bad my singing is. I’ve tried to record him, but he does most of his singing and talking when he doesn’t think we are listening, so when we stop talking to listen to him or record him, he stops talking and singing.

He also changes things to his own liking. He changed „More cow bell“ to „More cow bird“ and „More cat bell“ and „More cat bird“, for example.

I wonder if he knows the meaning of the word bird? He probably recognized that people around him uses this word time b time when they’re talking about him?

African Gray Parrots have the intelligence of five year old children, so they know they are birds, cats are cats, people are people, etc. They make up their own words and can have extensive vocabularies. Oh right, I saw a report about Alex some time ago. .. A year or more. It was really interesting that he can actually understand a lot of what people are telling to him!
