Hallo Leute!
Gestern bin ich mit meiner Gottkönige Zeichnung weiter gekommen, während ich König der Löwen gehört geguckt habe. Auch wenn sie es sich meiner Meinung nach nicht anmerken lassen, habe ich erstaunlich lange für die Kristalle gebraucht! Es ist schon nicht leicht, mit den doch eher groben Spitzen der Copics im kleinen Format detaillierte Schatten zu setzen und ich hoffe, dass ich entgegen meiner Befürchtung, mit diesem Problem nicht zu oft in diesem Bild konfrontiert werde. Nun werde ich aber noch ein wenig die restliche Sonne genießen, welche hier für einen super Start in die Woche gesorgt hat!

The crystals came out nicely. Worth the extra time. We have lots of what we call „crystal sniffers“ in northern NM. These are „new age“ type people who like to meditate while gazing into crystals or something like that. Did you watch Disney’s Lion King or some other Lion King? I’m not up on what’s going on in the word of Lion King’s.

Thanks! I know that some people are into the mystical power of stones but I don’t really know this scene or the „powers“ of the different stones, I just like their look xD and yeah, I watched Disney’s lion King, I love this movie 🙂

Crystals and stones are fun to look at, but I have no idea about their powers or magic, either. I don’t think I ever saw the Lion King. The last animated movies I saw that I thought were really good were the original „How to Tame Your Dragon“ (I haven’t seen the sequel), „The Painting“ (French), and „A Cat In Paris“ (French). I almost forgot the „Tin Tin“ movie is really good. We read the „Tin Tin“ comic books in French every night while we give the old kitties their fluids treatment. Also, have you seen „The incredible Adventures of Adele Blanc Sec“? It’s a wonderful movie (not animated but fun CG with a pteranodon and all.

The lion King is very good and worth to watch it! I’ve red some tin tin comics (in german language) when I was younger and no I’ve never seen „the incredible adventures of Adele Blanc sec“ but the pictures in Google are interesting 🙂

Die Kristalle gefallen mir in der ‚Vorstufe‘ (weiß mit wenig blau) tatsächlich besser – da sehen sie aus wie Bergkristalle. Am Ende wirken sie mir etwas zu schwer für eine kristaline Struktur. Was nicht heißen soll, dass sie schlecht coloriert sind. 😉

Da es Nacht ist, wollte ich alles ein wenig abdunkeln, daher die schwere Farbe und Bergkristalle sind ohnehin nicht meine Favoriten, auch wenn sie sehr schön sind 😀 und danke!
